Claudeforce, and the figure of 8.1 million hours
Salesforce puts Claude directly where businesses keep their customer data. The striking figure sits in the internal part: one AI bot already carries 8.1 million working hours a year.
Salesforce, the largest customer management software in the world, has announced “Claudeforce”, putting Anthropic's Claude assistant directly where businesses keep their customer data.
On 26 August the two sides joined up for something very concrete: you point the AI at your own customer data store, and it reads, answers and updates by itself, with 37 ready-built sales skills.
The figure that caught my attention sits in the internal part: one AI bot already carries 8.1 million working hours a year for Salesforce's own staff, and that number doubled in a single quarter.
I read it and paused. Not because the technology sounds formidable, but because of what it implies.
Then it landed: the work that repeats, entering orders, replying to customers, pulling reports together, turns out to be both the thing that eats most of our time and the thing AI does best.
A small shop does not need thousand-dollar software. But the principle is identical: every hour you spend less on manual work is an hour given back to customers and to the bigger work.
At CoreU we believe AI was not made to replace you, but so that you have a second pair of hands for the repeating work while you keep the human part.
And you, which task eats the most time each day, the one you wish someone else would do?
